Coppell Vision Center

Coppell, TX

Laura Pels, O.D.

About Dr. Marsh
I would like to thank all my patients for the privilege of providing their eye care needs and putting your trust in me. I am blessed to have encountered so many wonderful individuals since I opened my practice in Coppell in 1991. Your support through the years is both appreciated and humbling. My simple philosophy has always been to treat my patients as I would like to be treated. I was the valedictorian of the 1982 graduating class of the University of Houston College of Optometry. For the next 5 years, I was employed as the Contact Lens Director in the Ophthalmology Department at the renowned UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. My husband Kevin and I moved to Coppell in 1983. I eventually worked part-time so I could stay home with my three children. My first office in Coppell opened in 1991 under the name Ousley and Pels Eye Associates. The practice became Coppell Vision Center in 1999. Dr. Sandra Elston joined the practice in 2003. In April 2009, we moved to our wonderful new building on Sandy Lake Road, in the heart of the city. We continue to be active members of both our church and community.

Sandra Elsto, O.D.

About Dr. Marsh
I am originally from Medford, Oregon, but love the life I live in the great state of Texas. I graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 2000. I have been practicing in the DFW area since graduation and have had the profound pleasure of working with the Coppell community since 2003 alongside Dr. Laura Pels. The combination of Dr. Pels, the wonderful staff, and amazing patients have made my time at Coppell Vision Center such a blessing. I truly believe that the simple act of listening to my patients is the most important part of my examination. My job is not to merely collect data and construct an eyeglass prescription, but rather to formulate a plan to address the patient’s needs and concerns, and improve the vision experience. My husband and I enjoy our two amazing children and all of the fun they bring. Between trips to the park and swimming lessons, we throw in an occasional camping trip or bicycle outing. My career helps to keep my mind sharp, and my family keeps my soul happy.
